Off the square you'll find numerous businesses operated by many WHS alumni.
If you arrive in Winterset early...say on a Thursday evening, stop at the Courthouse and listen to the Winterset Community Band. They are musicians (most WHS Alumni!) who perform for "Lawn Chair Night" every Thursday evening throughout the summer. The Community Band performs in June until July. Bring your lawn chair and sit back and enjoy a delightful evening!
Remember 4-H, FFA, and the County Fair? July is the month for you! Stop out and see what's new and improved at the Fair! Especially the NEW Community Building!
